The technical principle and method of moisture-proof packaging
the technical principle of moisture-proof packaging is: use low moisture permeable or non moisture permeable materials to isolate the product from the humid atmosphere, so as to avoid the influence of moisture on the product. Therefore, the following methods can be adopted when carrying out moisture-proof packaging: ① select appropriate moisture-proof materials. Moisture proof material is the key factor affecting the quality of moisture-proof packaging. All materials that can delay or prevent the penetration of external moisture can be used as moisture barrier layer for moisture-proof packaging. The materials that meet this requirement include metal, plastic, ceramics, glass, and moisture-proof paper, wood, fiber products, etc. Generally speaking, the most used are plastic, aluminum foil, etc. The selection of moisture-proof materials is mainly based on the comprehensive consideration of several factors, such as cutting and grinding plastic waste such as PLA materials into small particles, such as great energy, environmental conditions, packaging grade, material moisture permeability and economy
② adopt the special Rockwell hardness tester for pipes to design a reasonable packaging modeling structure. The test shows that the packaging structure has a great influence on the moisture absorption of items. The larger the bottom area of the packaging container, the greater the moisture absorption of the packaging and its contents. The closer it is to the bottom, the greater the water content. Therefore, when designing the moisture-proof packaging modeling structure, the bottom area should be reduced as much as possible. In addition, the protruding parts of the tip of the packaging container are also easy to absorb moisture, so these parts should be changed into rounded corners as far as possible
③ moisture proof treatment shall be carried out for materials easy to absorb moisture. Some packaging materials, such as paper products, have poor moisture-proof performance. If they are used for moisture-proof packaging, they must undergo moisture-proof treatment. There are the following methods:
a wax coating. Wax is a good moisture-proof material. Melt the wax and immerse the paper in the wax liquid
b coating. The paint mainly includes clear oil, varnish, etc. before operation, brush a layer of starch slurry on the paper, and then apply paint
c plastic coating. The main raw material is polyvinyl butyral, a thermosetting plastic, which is dissolved in ethanol, then coated with rubber rollers, and then dried
④ add appropriate moisture-proof liner. Add one or more layers of moisture-proof materials, such as asphalt paper, kraft paper, wax paper, aluminum foil, and adjust the toothed rod to zero plastic film, etc. in the package that is prone to moisture
⑤ use moisture-proof materials for sealing and packaging. Use materials with excellent moisture resistance, such as metal, ceramics, glass, composite materials, etc. to make containers, package dry products, and then strictly seal the mouth of the container, so that moisture can no longer enter
⑥ add desiccant. Add an appropriate amount of desiccant into the sealed package, so that the residual moisture inside and the moisture penetrating through the moisture barrier layer are absorbed by the desiccant, so as to protect the contents from the influence of moisture. It should be noted that this kind of packaging needs moisture-proof materials with low moisture permeability, otherwise it will backfire
